Welcome to the AGREE electronic library for guideline developers.

This web-based resource bank is structured around the AGREE appraisal criteria, and is intended to support dissemination of the AGREE instrument to guideline developers.

The library includes information on the different ways in which guidelines are developed and documented throughout Europe; and provides examples, tools, and templates from members of the AGREE Collaboration which may be adapted by new guideline developers. As guideline developers we aim to meet all of the criteria addressed in the AGREE instrument, but we recognise that in many areas we still have room for improvement. We hope that this resource will promote sharing of good practice in guideline development.

This prototype electronic library includes background information and examples from England and Wales (in English), Finland (in Finnish), France (in French), Germany (in German and English), and Scotland (in English).
